Sheefa Pharmacy and Wellness Center was first opened in the spring of 2000, here in East Orange NJ. Along with the Sheefa Pharmacy in Paterson, the Sheefa name is continuing over the years to represent great customer care and hospitality, wonderful employees and innovative educational programs for the community.

The Sheefa pharmacy in East Orange was founded by aspiring health advocates, Ashraf Latif, R.Ph. and Amjad Abukwaik, R.Ph. During the first year, a number of wonderful employees were brought aboard, including, Yasmen Stadler, C.PhT, Kameelah Abdul-Haqq, C.PhT, and Nazimool Saheb, our Wellness Coordinator.

Sheefa Pharmacy has continued to hire other wonderful employees over the years. Sheefa specializes in many professional services to better facilitate our patients needs.

  1. Compounding of Specialty Prescriptions (From flavoring medications to customizing prescriptions to different dosage forms, such as liquids, capsules, suppository, or even topical ointments, Sheefa Pharmacy can modify your medication to fit your style)

  2. Pain Management Services (We work along with patients physicians to customize topical and oral preparations to alleviate pain.)

  3. Diabetes seminars (Diabetes seminars are scheduled frequently for the entire community and Sheefa‚ Diabetes Center features a full line of diabetes supplies and information.)

  4. My Dose Alert (We provide daily reminders to take your medications, refill prescriptions etc.)

  5. SyncRx (We synchronize your prescriptions to be refilled on one day of the month for one pickup.)
